The system will handle tasks such as reconciliation, vendor renewals, occupancy calls, and review action plans automatically, without human intervention, according to Prism's FY26 annual report. The company plans to deploy these AI agents across operations, finance, and customer support within the next year.
The AI agent represents a shift from AI that assists hotel operations to AI that independently runs them. Prism founder Ritesh Agarwal highlighted in a letter to shareholders that AI will become integral to every stage of the guest journey, including discovery, booking, pricing, check-in, guest engagement, housekeeping, finance, and compliance. The company aims to reduce manual effort and improve process turnaround times, allowing teams to focus on strategic work. Prism has not yet clarified how it will protect guest data collected by the AI.
This move places Prism among hospitality firms integrating AI deeply into operational workflows, potentially reshaping the sector’s operating architecture similar to how cloud computing transformed enterprise software.
