Institutional investors A91 Partners, Xponentia, NJRN Family Trust, and Mace Pvt Ltd sold SEDEMAC shares worth ₹1,456.38 crore through multiple bulk deals today, shortly after the IPO lock-in period ended, according to NSE data reported by inc42.com. A91 Partners sold 16.10 lakh shares at an average price of ₹3,010 each, generating ₹484.9 crore, while Xponentia sold 16.85 lakh shares across three bulk deals for ₹507.4 crore.
Alongside A91 Partners and Xponentia, Mace Private Limited offloaded 7.28 lakh shares worth ₹219 crore, and NJRN Family Trust sold 4.5 lakh shares valued at ₹135 crore. HDFC Life Insurance sold 3.63 lakh shares but also acquired 4.02 lakh shares during the transactions. Buyers included the Government of Singapore, which purchased 10.23 lakh shares, Amansa Holdings, Invesco Mutual Fund, SBI Mutual Fund, Monetary Authority of Singapore, and T Rowe Price International Discovery Fund, who collectively acquired the shares sold in these bulk deals.
This share sale marks the second time these institutional investors have reduced their holdings in SEDEMAC since its IPO earlier this year. The IPO was an offer-for-sale component that saw investors offload 80.43 lakh shares, raising ₹1,087 crore. Notable selling shareholders during the IPO included Xponentia Capital Partners, Mace, IIT-Bombay’s SINE, 360 One, and HDFC Life Insurance, reflecting a pattern of partial exits by early investors in the company.
The bulk deals today followed the expiry of the IPO lock-in period, enabling these investors to liquidate part of their holdings. The NSE data confirms the total shares sold and the average prices, with A91 Emerging Fund II LLP acting as the holding entity for A91 Partners. The transactions highlight ongoing portfolio adjustments by institutional shareholders in SEDEMAC.
