Avendus Future Leaders Fund III has acquired a stake worth ₹140 crore in Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services (PPFAS), according to livemint.com. The deal marks a significant investment in the wealth management sector, reflecting growing interest in financial advisory services in India. The transaction was announced on July 14, 2026.
The acquisition was led by Ritesh Chandra, managing director of Avendus Future Leaders Fund, who highlighted PPFAS’s strong growth trajectory. Over the past five years, PPFAS’s assets under management (AUM) have expanded at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 70%, underscoring the firm’s robust performance. The deal aligns with Avendus’s strategy to back high-growth companies in the financial services space.
This investment underscores the rising prominence of wealth management in India, driven by an increasing proportion of the population participating in investment activities. The deal positions Avendus alongside other private equity firms targeting financial advisory firms, which have seen a surge in demand amid growing retail investor interest. PPFAS’s consistent growth and expanding AUM make it a notable player in this competitive sector.
Ritesh Chandra noted that wealth management is poised to be one of the largest beneficiaries of the investment shift, as more individuals engage in financial markets. The acquisition by Avendus Future Leaders Fund III is expected to support PPFAS’s continued expansion and service capabilities in the evolving Indian wealth management landscape.
