The startup is also exploring a ₹500 crore pre-IPO funding round to bring a global private equity firm onto its cap table, with the round expected to close soon.
The company’s founder and CEO, Akshay Chaturvedi, has committed to listing the company by the end of next year. Leverage Edu is currently finalizing investment bankers for the IPO and has held talks with several global PE firms for the pre-IPO round. The startup turned EBITDA profitable in FY26, posting an EBITDA of ₹9.5 crore, sources told inc42.com.
Leverage Edu is preparing for an IPO estimated between ₹2,000 crore and ₹3,000 crore, comprising a fresh issue of shares and an offer for sale. The startup aims for a valuation exceeding $900 million, positioning itself alongside platform businesses such as Zomato, ixigo, and Shadowfax, which have achieved similar valuation multiples. The company has also been expanding its international presence.
