Digital lender Moneyview's initial public offering (IPO) was oversubscribed 31.41 times by 1:45 PM IST on the final day of bidding. The public issue received bids for 730.28 crore shares against 23.25 crore shares on offer, according to BSE data. The IPO, valued at ₹1,092 crore, had a price band of ₹32-₹34 per share and values the company at ₹5,985 crore ($624 million).
Non-institutional investors (NIIs) led the bidding with 389.93 crore shares, oversubscribing their quota of 5.02 crore shares by 69.33 times. Within NIIs, bids between ₹2 lakh and ₹10 lakh were oversubscribed 54.56 times, while bids exceeding ₹10 lakh were oversubscribed 76.72 times. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) placed bids for 179.30 crore shares against 6.50 crore shares reserved, oversubscribing 27.55 times. Retail investors oversubscribed their quota by 13.74 times, bidding for 161.05 crore shares against 11.72 crore shares reserved. There was no employee quota.
The IPO was fully subscribed within hours of opening on September 24. The strong demand reflects investor confidence in Moneyview's lending technology platform amid a growing digital lending market in India. The company's valuation at nearly ₹6,000 crore positions it among notable fintech listings this year. The grey market price for Moneyview shares climbed 41% earlier on the final day, indicating positive market sentiment ahead of the listing.
Moneyview's shares are scheduled to list on stock exchanges on October 1. The company will be closely watched as one of the significant fintech IPOs this year, with its subscription levels signaling robust investor interest in digital lending platforms in India.
