Delhi NCR-based NBFC Seeds Fincap raised over ₹100 crore ($10.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, with participation from existing investors Z47, Lok Capital, Norinchukin Capital, and Alteria Capital, the company announced. The fresh capital will be used to expand its branch network, enhance risk-management systems, and enter new markets.

Founded in 2021 by Subhash Chandra Acharya, Avishek Sarkar, and Sumeet Dhall, Seeds Fincap offers credit products ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh to underserved individuals and MSMEs. The startup uses a proprietary cash-flow-driven underwriting approach supported by technology and field operations. Acharya, who is also MD and CEO, said the capital will help deepen the company’s presence and strengthen its technology and human resources.

Seeds Fincap reported profitability in both FY25 and FY26, with total disbursements of approximately ₹620 crore in FY26 and assets under management of ₹722 crore. The company operates 164 branches and serves over 70,000 active members as of August 2026. Lending technology startups like Seeds Fincap are expected to drive more than half of India’s fintech market, which is projected to generate over $250 billion in revenue by 2030.

The company aims to reach ₹1,000 crore in assets under management by March 2027, marking a significant growth milestone for the NBFC and its investors, according to the funding announcement.
