The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached movable and immovable assets worth around ₹442.35 crore in the money laundering case involving Gameskraft Technologies, operator of the RummyCulture app. The order was issued on September 25 under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and includes fixed deposits, commercial shops, a villa, and residential properties linked to shareholders’ family members and associated entities, according to inc42.com.

This latest attachment raises the total value of assets frozen, attached, and seized in the investigation to approximately ₹2,843 crore. The ED alleges that proceeds from Gameskraft’s online gaming operations were routed to shareholders via dividends and share buybacks, then invested in financial assets and properties to conceal their origins. The probe is based on multiple FIRs filed in Telangana alleging cheating, with the ED citing use of bots and withdrawal restrictions in the gaming platforms operated by Gameskraft and its affiliate RummyTime Technologies.

The ED’s investigation targets Gameskraft’s brands including RummyCulture, RummyPrime, Playship, and Rum, which run online rummy games and tournaments. Earlier, the agency had attached properties worth around ₹1,906 crore and frozen movable assets valued at about ₹495 crore. Additionally, cash worth ₹11 lakh and 2.30 kg of gold and diamond jewellery were seized. The case highlights regulatory scrutiny of online gaming firms amid allegations of financial irregularities and cheating in India’s growing digital gaming sector.

The Enforcement Directorate’s latest order on September 25 adds to the ongoing probe that has already frozen assets exceeding ₹2,400 crore, underscoring the scale of the investigation into Gameskraft Technologies and its operations, inc42.com reported.
