Walmart-owned Flipkart Group reduced its consolidated net loss to Rs 8,468 crore in the financial year ended March 2026, a 2% decline from Rs 8,646 crore in FY25. The group’s operating revenue increased 18% to Rs 1,45,880 crore from Rs 1,23,451 crore, according to financial statements filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). This marks the first time Flipkart reported consolidated results under Flipkart Internet Private Limited, following its reverse flip to India earlier this year.
The consolidated entity includes Flipkart, Myntra, Cleartrip, eKart, Flipkart Minutes, Flipkart Health+, Pinkvilla, and Instacart. Flipkart’s core revenue driver remains sales of traded goods, which rose 13% to Rs 1,04,850 crore in FY26 from Rs 92,957 crore in FY25. Marketplace services, which generate commission fees from third-party sellers, and collection services, which charge payment processing fees, also contribute to the revenue mix. The reverse flip was executed ahead of a potential initial public offering (IPO).
The narrowing of losses and revenue growth come amid intensifying competition in India’s e-commerce sector, where Flipkart competes with Amazon and Reliance Retail. The consolidation of multiple platforms under one entity aims to streamline operations and improve financial transparency. Flipkart’s financial performance will be closely watched as it prepares for its IPO, which could be one of the largest in the Indian market.
Flipkart’s next major financial disclosure will be its IPO filing documents, expected to provide more detailed insights into its business strategy and financial health. The company’s Rs 1.5 lakh crore revenue milestone underscores its scale in India’s e-commerce landscape, setting the stage for its public market debut.
