Mahajan Imaging & Labs announced a joint venture with Chennai-based Neuberg Diagnostics to expand integrated diagnostics across seven northern states and Union territories in India. The partnership, revealed on Monday, will cover the National Capital Region, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, according to Harsh Mahajan, founder and chairman of Mahajan Imaging & Labs, at an event in New Delhi.
Under the agreement, Mahajan Imaging will act as Neuberg’s exclusive partner in the designated northern regions, focusing on services including pathology, radiology, genomics, metabolomics, and wellness testing. The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to enhance diagnostic services availability and quality in these areas. Harsh Mahajan emphasized the strategic importance of this alliance during the announcement.
This joint venture reflects growing consolidation in India’s diagnostic sector, where integrated networks are expanding to meet rising demand for comprehensive health testing. Neuberg Diagnostics, headquartered in Chennai, has been increasing its footprint, and this partnership with Mahajan Imaging, a well-established network in North India, positions both firms to compete with other major players in the diagnostics market. The move aligns with broader trends of regional expansion and service diversification in healthcare.
The partnership was formally announced on August 31, 2026, at a New Delhi event attended by key company leaders, including Harsh Mahajan. The collaboration will immediately begin operations across the seven states and Union territories, aiming to improve diagnostic access and integration in northern India.
