Zoho launches apps to sync CRM data with email and spreadsheets

Zoho has introduced two new apps designed to enhance data synchronization for its CRM users.

Zoho has introduced two new apps designed to enhance data synchronization for its CRM users. The Constant Contact for Zoho CRM app syncs leads, contacts, accounts, and campaigns between Zoho CRM and Constant Contact every three to five minutes. Meanwhile, the Zoho Sheet Magic Lookup Extension automatically updates specific CRM fields based on changes in Zoho Sheet, eliminating manual data entry and exports.

The Constant Contact integration allows users to set up one-way or bidirectional syncing with conflict-resolution rules, ensuring data consistency across platforms. Setup is streamlined through a single screen within Zoho CRM, requiring just one sign-in and permission approval. The Sheet Magic Lookup Extension connects Zoho Sheet and Zoho CRM by matching spreadsheet rows to CRM records via a lookup field, enabling automatic updates of selected fields based on user-defined mapping and conditions.

These apps address common challenges faced by sales and marketing teams who often operate their CRM and email or spreadsheet tools separately. Manual data transfers can cause delays, errors, and outdated records, impacting lead follow-up and campaign accuracy. By automating synchronization, Zoho aims to reduce data staleness and manual errors, improving operational efficiency. The new offerings complement Zoho’s existing ecosystem by integrating key business tools more tightly.

Both apps are available through the Zoho Marketplace, allowing users to enhance their CRM workflows without complex scripting or external tools. The Constant Contact for Zoho CRM sync operates every three to five minutes, while the Sheet Magic Lookup Extension updates CRM fields automatically as spreadsheet data changes, providing near real-time data alignment.
