Healthtech startup 4baseCare has closed its Series B funding round at ₹128 crore ($13 million) after securing an additional ₹38 crore led by growX Ventures, months after raising ₹90 crore. The Bengaluru-based company announced the final tranche this week, aiming to expand its genomics laboratory network and scale its AI-driven precision oncology platform, OncoTwin, across multiple regions.

Founded in 2018 by Hitesh Goswami and Kshitij Rishi, 4baseCare leverages genomics, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence to provide personalized oncology care. The latest funding round included participation from existing investors and follows a ₹90 crore raise co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi six months ago. Earlier, the startup raised ₹50 crore in a Series A round led by Yali Capital in 2024.

The fresh capital will be used to expand 4baseCare’s genomics lab network beyond India to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia. The company also plans to enhance OncoTwin, its AI-based platform that supports clinicians by delivering clinically actionable insights derived from genomic and real-world data. This positions 4baseCare among emerging players integrating AI with precision medicine in oncology.

4baseCare’s CEO Hitesh Goswami said the additional funds will help the startup grow its global footprint and advance its AI-driven oncology solutions. The company’s Series B round, now fully closed at ₹128 crore, reflects growing investor interest in healthtech startups focused on genomics and AI-enabled cancer care, according to inc42.com.
