AI-powered sales intelligence startup Reo.Dev has raised $11.3 million (about ₹109 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital, the company announced. The round included participation from existing investors Heavybit and India Quotient, as well as angel investors like Gokul Rajaram and select customers. The fresh capital will be used to expand Reo.Dev’s sales and marketing operations in the US and accelerate product development.

Founded in 2023 by Achintya Gupta, Gaurav Jain, and Scholr cofounder Piyush Agarwal, Reo.Dev offers an AI-driven sales intelligence platform targeting software companies selling to developers and technical decision makers. The startup analyzes developer activity across over 30 public platforms such as GitHub, Docker Hub, Stack Overflow, Reddit, and Hacker News to detect buying intent. Its proprietary AI models combine these signals to help enterprise sales teams identify and target prospective customers, Agarwal told inc42.com.

The funding round underscores growing investor interest in AI applications for go-to-market strategies, especially in technical sales. Reo.Dev’s approach of leveraging developer activity data to inform sales targeting is part of a broader trend where AI is reshaping how companies engage with technical buyers. Elevation Capital’s lead investment aligns with its focus on technology startups addressing niche enterprise needs, while participation from seasoned investors like Heavybit and India Quotient signals confidence in Reo.Dev’s growth potential.

Reo.Dev plans to deploy the $11.3 million primarily to scale its US sales and marketing teams, which represent the majority of its business, and to continue investing heavily in AI product development. The company’s next milestones include expanding its customer base in the US market and enhancing its AI models to refine go-to-market intelligence, according to cofounder and CRO Piyush Agarwal.
