D2C skincare brand Be Clinical has raised ₹21 crore (about $2.2 million) in a seed extension round led by Sauce, with participation from existing investor V3 Ventures and several angel investors, according to inc42.com. The fresh capital will be used to expand the startup’s skin, body, and haircare portfolio, strengthen R&D, scale manufacturing, and enter new markets.

Founded by Hemangi Dhir in 2025 after two years of research and development, Be Clinical focuses on clinically tested products with dermatologically active ingredients targeting ageing-related skin concerns among Indian consumers. The round included angel investors such as Mokobara founders Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal, Reckitt SVP Arjun Purkayastha, and Shaunak Chirayu Amin. The company plans to invest further in clinical testing and manufacturing capabilities.

Be Clinical operates an in-house manufacturing setup to maintain control over product quality and efficacy, a key differentiator in the beauty and personal care sector. Since its launch, the startup has delivered 1.2 lakh orders and recorded a strong share of repeat purchases. Its portfolio includes products like PlumpX Serum, FirmX Serum, Revive 10 Eye Cream, and Neck Repair Cream, primarily sold through its website.

The startup aims to strengthen its team and scale operations with the new funding. Be Clinical’s seed extension round marks a significant step in its growth trajectory, positioning it to expand its clinical skincare offerings and geographic reach.
