Circle, a pre-owned goods marketplace, raised ₹25 crore (about $2.6 million) in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital, Myntra cofounder Raveen Sastry, and Delhivery COO Ajith Pai as an angel investor, the company announced. The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the capital to expand beyond Bengaluru and enhance its AI-powered pricing, product discovery, and verification tools.
Founded in 2025 by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra, Circle operates a managed marketplace that handles product verification, payments, and logistics for transactions between individual buyers and sellers without owning inventory. The platform combines AI tools with human verification and covers products like smartphones, gaming consoles, furniture, watches, and sneakers. Circle manages listings, pickups, and seller payouts while offering buyers product verification and a three-day guarantee.
Circle has facilitated around ₹25 crore in pre-owned goods sales within a year of launch, attracting over 1 million visitors and generating 100,000 listings in Bengaluru. Sellers typically find buyers within three days, significantly faster than traditional classifieds platforms where sales can take weeks or months. The fresh funding will also support expanding the startup’s logistics network and Trust Hubs, which handle product verification and fulfillment.
Prior to this round, Circle raised ₹3.4 crore in a pre-seed round led by Titan Capital in November last year. The company’s next steps include scaling its operations beyond Bengaluru to capture a larger share of India’s growing pre-owned goods market, leveraging AI and logistics infrastructure to improve transaction efficiency.
