DeHaat Honest Farms, the consumer food brand launched by agritech startup DeHaat, has raised ₹35 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by OTP Ventures. The round also included participation from Sadev Capital and Maiuni Ventures. Alongside the fundraise, DeHaat cofounder Adarsh J Srivastava was appointed CEO of Honest Farms to lead its next growth phase, the company said.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Honest Farms’ retail footprint into new geographies, broaden its product portfolio through new product development, and increase consumer awareness about pesticide-free food. Honest Farms offers more than 100 products, including staples, superfoods, and everyday kitchen essentials. The brand sources products directly from farmers via DeHaat’s network and subjects them to over 230 quality checks, carrying a pesticide-free certificate.
Currently, Honest Farms sells through more than 3,000 retail stores across over 120 cities, as well as quick commerce, ecommerce, and modern trade platforms. The consumer business was carved out as a separate subsidiary, DeHaat Consumer Products, in April 2026, marking DeHaat’s expansion beyond its core agritech operations. The brand aims to reach more than 10 lakh families and increase its annual recurring revenue to ₹200 crore within 12 to 18 months.
Honest Farms plans to expand its retail presence to over 10,000 stores in the next 12 to 18 months. The company began building the brand in 2022 through internal investments before launching it as a consumer-facing entity. Adarsh J Srivastava’s appointment as CEO coincides with this new phase of scaling the business, according to inc42.com.
