Sid’s Farm, a dairy startup, has secured ₹81 crore ($8.5 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by existing investors Omnivore and Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, along with new backers including Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures, and Leaders for India Organisation. The company plans to use the capital to enhance its supply chain, expand manufacturing and distribution, and invest in product innovation, the startup announced.
Founded in 2016 by Dr Kishore Indukuri, Sid’s Farm operates a subscription-based model selling premium milk and dairy products with a focus on food safety and traceability. The startup serves over 50,000 families across multiple cities and runs two processing units in Telangana’s Shabad and Tumkur. It partners with around 5,000 dairy farmers, supporting them through education, fair procurement, timely payments, and veterinary care. The company conducts more than 10,000 quality and safety tests daily across 45 parameters.
This funding round comes nearly two years after Sid’s Farm raised $10 million in its Series A round aimed at expanding to Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The startup’s operating revenue increased by 33.6% to ₹167.58 crore in FY25 from ₹125.41 crore the previous year. The infusion of capital will help Sid’s Farm strengthen its position in the growing direct-to-consumer dairy market, which emphasizes transparency and quality assurance.
Sid’s Farm’s core products include cow’s milk, buffalo’s milk, curd, and ghee. The company’s focus on deepening farmer partnerships and expanding into new markets will be supported by this fresh capital injection, according to inc42.com.
