YOGa Clean Air, a clean tech startup focused on indoor air-quality systems, has raised ₹20 crore (approximately $2.1 million) in its Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures.

YOGa Clean Air, a clean tech startup focused on indoor air-quality systems, has raised ₹20 crore (approximately $2.1 million) in its Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures. The round, which closed recently, also included participation from Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital. This marks YOGa’s first external funding since its formal establishment in 2019.

The ₹20 crore funding was split evenly between primary capital and secondary transactions, with ₹10 crore raised via fresh capital and ₹10 crore through secondary deals. YOGa plans to use the funds to strengthen its presence in existing markets and expand into new Tier I and Tier II cities. The startup also intends to deploy its clean air solutions on public transport and other outdoor spaces, according to founder and CEO Sachin Panwar in an interview with inc42.com.

Founded in 2010 and formally established as YOGAN Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2019 by Sachin Panwar along with cofounders Deepak Raina and Gaurav Nagar, YOGa develops indoor air-quality systems that clean air across entire rooms or buildings. Its Clean Air Bubble system filters outdoor air before bringing it indoors and maintains positive air pressure to prevent polluted air from entering. The system also monitors carbon dioxide levels to ensure fresh indoor air, differentiating it from conventional air purifiers that treat limited areas.

YOGa aims to achieve ₹100 crore in revenue this year, leveraging the new capital to scale operations and broaden its market reach. The startup’s focus on deploying clean air solutions in public and outdoor spaces highlights its strategy to address air quality challenges beyond traditional indoor environments.
