Wealthtech startup Zomint has raised ₹36 crore (about $3.7 million) in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners, the company announced. Founded in 2025 by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal, Zomint aims to scale its wealth management platform targeting working professionals and families building long-term wealth.
Zomint plans to deploy the fresh capital to enhance its technology and investment capabilities, expand its team of wealth and investment experts, and grow content-led distribution across new formats and regional languages, according to inc42.com. The platform pairs customers with dedicated wealth experts supported by AI tools and investment research. CEO Aman Mittal has prior product leadership experience at Flipkart and Pine Labs, while COO Shavir Bansal founded the personal finance content platform Bekifaayati, which has over 50 lakh subscribers.
The startup differentiates itself by allowing customers to start with a monthly SIP of ₹25,000 or a lump sum investment of ₹5 lakh, moving beyond the high-net-worth individual segment traditionally served by wealth managers. Zomint’s platform integrates portfolio information, financial goals, past conversations, and research to flag issues and track agreed actions. It operates as an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor with offerings spanning equity and debt funds.
Zomint’s seed round marks a significant step in the growing wealthtech sector, where startups are leveraging AI and expert advisory to democratize wealth management. The company’s website confirms its registration as a mutual fund distributor, underscoring its regulatory compliance and readiness to scale.
