Global investment firm Alpha Wave Ventures sold its entire 7.78% stake in MSME-focused NBFC Aye Finance through bulk deals today, raising approximately ₹322.6 crore, according to BSE data. The sale involved nearly 1.92 crore shares sold in two tranches at weighted average prices of ₹168.19 and ₹168.02 per share, marking Alpha Wave's complete exit from Aye Finance.
Alpha Wave India I held 1,91,88,604 shares in Aye Finance as of June 30, 2026. The two tranches of 95.94 lakh shares each were acquired by buyers including Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), an associate of Millennium Management, and Singularity AMC’s Singularity Large Value Fund III. Additionally, boutique advisory firm F3 Advisors sold 74,505 shares at ₹173.88 each while purchasing 14.6 lakh shares at ₹169.23 per share, reflecting active trading around this transaction.
This exit is part of a broader pattern of Alpha Wave offloading stakes in portfolio companies. Earlier today, the firm planned to sell over 2 crore shares in Lenskart for around ₹1,313 crore, following a prior sale of 3.72 crore shares in May. Alpha Wave also recently exited logistics firm Delhivery by selling 72.2 lakh shares for about ₹665 crore. These moves indicate a strategic portfolio reshuffle by the investment firm in 2026.
At the time of Aye Finance’s public listing in February, Alpha Wave held an 11% stake, which it has now fully divested. The bulk deals today represent a significant liquidity event for the investor and mark a notable shift in ownership for Aye Finance, as recorded in the latest BSE filings.
