Aye Finance reported a 143.5% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹74.5 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, up from ₹30.6 crore in the same period last year, according to inc42.com. Revenue from operations rose 17.7% to ₹477.4 crore, while assets under management grew 28% to ₹7,324 crore. The company added 44,736 new borrowers during the quarter, a 38% increase from a year earlier.
The sequential quarter saw a 13.3% decline in profit from ₹85.9 crore in Q4 FY26, and revenue fell 7.3% from ₹515.1 crore. Interest income, the largest revenue contributor, increased to ₹452.7 crore from ₹359.3 crore year-on-year. Total expenses rose 5% to ₹392.5 crore but declined 6.8% sequentially. Aye Finance’s gross non-performing assets decreased 28 basis points to 4.49%, while net non-performing assets fell 12 basis points to 1.67%.
The improvement in loan book quality and growth in disbursements, which increased 22% to ₹1,219 crore, highlight the company’s operational strength in the non-banking financial sector. Aye Finance’s capital adequacy ratio stood at 42.38%, with a net worth of ₹2,528 crore. The company’s performance contrasts with some peers facing asset quality pressures, underscoring its focus on risk management and borrower acquisition.
Alongside the Q1 results, Aye Finance’s board approved a proposal to raise up to ₹4,000 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures via private placement over the next year, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting, inc42.com reported.
