Groww reported a 54% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹724.7 crore in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, up from ₹471.3 crore in the same period last year. Operating revenue grew 47.4% to ₹1,501.5 crore, compared to ₹1,018.7 crore in Q2 FY26, while total income including other income reached ₹1,540.5 crore, according to inc42.com.
The sequential profit declined 1.4% from ₹735 crore in the June quarter, driven by a drop in other income from ₹47.3 crore in Q1 FY27 to ₹39 crore in Q2 FY27. Total expenses increased 28.5% to ₹555.9 crore from ₹432.6 crore a year earlier, but this rise was still lower than the growth in operating revenue. The tax expense also edged higher, contributing to the slight sequential profit dip.
Groww’s revenue growth outpaced its expense increase, supporting improved profitability despite the sequential profit decline. The company’s performance reflects strong demand in the investment technology sector, where revenue growth is a key indicator of market traction. This quarter’s results position Groww alongside other fintech firms showing robust expansion in India’s digital investment space.
Groww’s total income for Q2 FY27 stood at ₹1,540.5 crore, nearly flat sequentially from ₹1,548.7 crore in Q1 FY27. The company’s next earnings update is expected with the Q3 FY27 results, which will reveal if the revenue momentum and profit growth sustain amid evolving market conditions.
