Qualcomm Ventures sold 57.1 lakh shares of logistics company Shadowfax through an open-market transaction for ₹157.3 crore, according to BSE data. The shares were sold at ₹275.3 apiece, representing a 6.6% discount to the stock’s last closing price. This sale follows Qualcomm’s earlier bulk deal in August, where it offloaded 75 lakh shares worth ₹183.9 crore.
The chipmaker, via its affiliate Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte Limited, held a 2.26% stake in Shadowfax, or 1.32 crore shares, at the end of June 2026. Qualcomm first invested in Shadowfax during the startup’s $22 million Series C round in 2018 alongside Mirae Asset and Eight Roads Ventures. The recent bulk sale is part of a series of transactions by investors booking profits amid rising share prices.
Shadowfax’s shares have surged 29.3% in the past three months and over 122.91% in the last six months, driven by strong financial results. The logistics company reported an eightfold increase in consolidated net profit to ₹65.4 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹8 crore a year earlier. Operating revenue also rose 65% year-on-year and 10% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1,358 crore in the same period, reflecting robust business growth.
Since August, private equity firm TPG has sold Shadowfax shares worth more than ₹700 crore across multiple bulk deals. Qualcomm’s recent sale adds to this trend of investors capitalizing on the stock’s upward momentum, highlighting significant liquidity events for the company’s early backers.
