Private equity firm TPG sold Shadowfax shares worth ₹113.6 crore via an open-market bulk deal, according to BSE data. The sale involved 40 lakh shares at ₹284.03 apiece, a 1.3% premium to the stock’s previous close. This transaction is part of a series of stake sales by TPG in Shadowfax over recent months.
TPG, through its NewQuest Asia Fund IV (Singapore), offloaded shares in multiple tranches, including ₹200 crore worth in September and ₹300 crore in August. The recent bulk deal follows a sharp rise in Shadowfax’s stock price, which reached an all-time high of ₹291.90 on September 24. The buyer details were not disclosed in the transaction data.
Shadowfax’s shares have surged over 14% in the past month and nearly 144% in six months, driven by strong financial performance. The logistics company reported an eightfold increase in consolidated net profit to ₹65.4 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹8 crore a year earlier. Operating revenue rose 65% year-on-year to ₹1,358.1 crore in the quarter ended June 2026, prompting the company to raise its FY27 revenue growth forecast to 38-40%, up from 28-30%.
The bulk sale by TPG reflects investor interest amid Shadowfax’s robust earnings and stock price momentum. The company’s revised revenue guidance and recent profit growth underscore its expanding market position in logistics. The latest share sale was executed at a premium to the stock’s last close, highlighting strong demand in the secondary market.
