Delhi NCR-based D2C home-cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised $3 million (₹27 crore) in a seed funding round led by V3 Ventures, the company announced. Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain, and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy produces foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear, and other surfaces. The fresh capital will help the startup expand into new categories such as car cleaners, laundry care, and all-purpose home-cleaning solutions, according to inc42.com.
Scrubsy’s products are formulated to cling to grime and stains and work within 30 seconds, reducing the need for heavy scrubbing. The startup sells its portfolio—which includes kitchen cleaner and degreaser, all-in-one bathroom cleaner, multi-purpose foam cleaner, and footwear cleaner—via its D2C website and major marketplaces. BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd, Scrubsy’s parent company, reported 100% year-on-year revenue growth and over 500,000 customers within eight months of launch. The company has been bootstrapped until now and claims to be EBITDA-positive since inception, according to inc42.com.
The funding round comes amid growth in India’s household cleaning market, which was valued at $11.91 billion in 2025. Rising hygiene awareness, urbanisation, and increasing disposable incomes are driving demand for branded and specialised cleaning products. Scrubsy competes with brands such as Happi Planet, Koparo Clean, and Clensta. The startup aims to achieve ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue by fiscal year 2028, positioning itself as a notable player in the expanding sector, per inc42.com.
Scrubsy’s seed round led by V3 Ventures marks a key milestone as the company plans to broaden its product range and scale operations. The startup’s growth trajectory and market ambitions will be closely watched as it targets ₹100 crore ARR by FY28, according to inc42.com.
