Net profit rose 85.2% sequentially from ₹34.2 crore in Q1 FY27, although revenue declined 10% quarter-on-quarter from ₹356.8 crore. The profit surge was aided by an exceptional gain of ₹40.7 crore from ixigo’s partial exit from electric bus operator Freshbus. In August, ixigo sold part of its stake in Freshbus for ₹36.6 crore, reducing its holding to 8.27% from 25.66%, and Freshbus ceased to be an associate of ixigo.

ixigo’s Q2 FY27 results highlight a turnaround from losses to profitability, supported by strategic stake sales and operational growth. The company’s next earnings release will provide further clarity on sustaining profitability amid fluctuating revenue and margins, with its market capitalization at ₹7,066 crore reflecting investor confidence in its growth trajectory.
