Swiss deeptech startup Jaipur Robotics raised €4.3 million (around ₹48 crore) in a seed funding round co-led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), the company confirmed. The round also included participation from existing investors and brings Jaipur Robotics’ total funding to nearly $6 million. Founded in 2024, the startup focuses on AI-powered computer vision systems for waste-to-energy (WtE) plants.
The fresh capital will accelerate product development, expand international sales, and grow the team, founder and CEO Ermes Zamboni told inc42.com. Jaipur Robotics plans to develop new features and integrations for WtE plants, with a focus on crane automation. The startup’s technology uses industrial cameras and sensors to monitor waste piles, identify hazardous or oversized objects, and alert crane operators before such material reaches the furnace.
Jaipur Robotics’ technology addresses a critical challenge in WtE plants, where waste is stored in large bunkers and cranes move it into furnaces. The AI system acts as an intelligence layer, improving safety and operational efficiency by preventing damage from unsuitable materials like concrete blocks or metal. The startup previously raised $1 million in a 2025 pre-seed round led by TiVentures, with participation from Techstars.
Jaipur Robotics was featured in the August 2026 edition of inc42’s flagship ‘30 Startups To Watch’. The company aims to scale its product and expand its presence in India and international markets using the new funding.
