Pernia Pop Up Shop’s parent company, Purple Style Labs (PSL), reported a consolidated net loss of ₹285.4 crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026 (FY26), marking a 51.5% increase from the ₹188.4 crore loss in FY25, according to inc42.com. Despite the widening loss, PSL’s operating revenue rose 14% to ₹557.8 crore, while total income, including other income of ₹9.2 crore, increased 14.8% to ₹567.1 crore.

The company’s gross merchandise value (GMV) grew 23% year-on-year to ₹721.6 crore in FY26. However, its international GMV contribution declined from 28.38% in FY25 to 20.3% in FY26, with the US GMV falling from ₹97.4 crore to ₹76.8 crore. This decline occurred despite Pernia Pop Up Shop opening a New York store in February 2026 and emphasizing international expansion as a growth strategy. Founded in 2015 by Abhishek Agarwal, PSL operates the multi-brand luxury omnichannel fashion platform Pernia’s Pop Up Shop, selling through its direct-to-consumer platform and 12 experience centres.

Pernia’s platform features 1,109 active designer brands, including Seema Gujral, Anushree Reddy, Amit Aggarwal, and Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna. The company offers womenswear, menswear, and other categories such as jewelry, accessories, and kidswear, focusing on wedding and occasion wear. The total number of customers served in FY26 was 66,713, a 6% decline from 70,651 in FY25. The company has raised private equity funding but is yet to go public.

The company’s financial results highlight the challenges of scaling luxury fashion retail internationally, even with new store openings. Pernia Pop Up Shop’s next significant milestone will be its upcoming initial public offering, which remains pending as of the fiscal year-end, according to inc42.com.
