Shamrock AI, an enterprise AI startup based in Shillong, raised $5 million in a seed funding round led by Endiya Partners with participation from Capria Ventures, the company announced. Founded in 2026 by Sarat Addanki, Anuraag Nallapati, and Michael Gallagher, Shamrock AI plans to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand its team in India and the US, and grow its presence in the Middle East.
The startup is developing an agentic assurance platform that helps large enterprises deploy AI agents reliably across critical business processes. Its platform leverages an Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph to connect business processes, systems, data, and configurations, providing AI agents with context on enterprise operations. Shamrock AI is initially focusing on automating testing for large enterprise resource planning transformations, including SAP S/4HANA migrations, to continuously validate and improve business process accuracy.
Shamrock AI's approach addresses the growing demand for reliable AI deployment in complex enterprise environments. The startup already serves multiple Fortune 500 clients, including a Fortune 100 AI hardware manufacturer and a Fortune 100 healthcare company. Its platform aims to extend beyond testing into data observability and autonomous business process automation, positioning it within a competitive market of AI tools designed to enhance enterprise operational efficiency.
The company expects 70% to 80% of its workforce to be based in India. The seed round marks Shamrock AI's first institutional funding and sets the stage for scaling its go-to-market efforts and product capabilities across global markets, including the Middle East, according to inc42.com.
