JSW MG Motors India announced the eight startups that won its MG Developer Program (MGDP) 2026, a startup engagement initiative focused on automotive innovation. The selected startups will collaborate with JSW MG Motor India and its ecosystem partners on pilot projects and real-world deployments. The program targets startups working in mobility, manufacturing, customer experience, sustainability, and industrial operations, the company said.
The MG Developer Program, launched in 2019, has attracted over 1,680 startup entries across connected mobility, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and automotive technologies. JSW MG Motor India managing director Anurag Mehrotra said the program aims to provide startups a platform to collaborate, experiment, and scale breakthrough ideas. The eight winners represent promising innovations in automotive technology, sustainability, industrial intelligence, and mobility services.
Among the winners is Nayan Technologies, founded in 2018 and headquartered in New Delhi, which operates an AI-based road intelligence platform. This platform uses visual data to generate insights on traffic monitoring, real-time events, infrastructure defects, and driver behavior to improve road safety and traffic management. The program’s focus on such startups highlights the growing importance of AI and sustainability in the automotive sector.
Since its inception, the MG Developer Program has become a key initiative for JSW MG Motors to engage with emerging startups and foster innovation. The company will now work closely with the eight selected startups to pilot their solutions and integrate them into its ecosystem, marking a continued commitment to advancing automotive technology and sustainability.
